Poor Japanese (people or language)
As you see, I have two blogs, English version and Japanese one. I don’t post the same contents. Because Writing complicated things in English is a work to me.
Today one of my friends at Twitter asked me to try Google translate web gadget on his blog. I think he wanted to know how it works with Japanese language.
In my impression, Google translate works very well among English and other European languages, but not for Japanese. Syntax system and roots of vocab is completely different.
I put the same gadget on my Japanese blog and tried it and laughed. After tried in some other languages, I put the same gadget on my English blog and it works not so bad. Of course, my English is not so good full of grammatical errors. But I can read the Google generated text without any problems
That made me sorry. Sorry for myself and for Japanese people and Language.
Beyond the Web 2.0 revolution, now millions of genius are doing their business on the net. They might not have enough budget to translate all web contents into several languages. So automated translate system is a great feature for their websites or blogs.
But what about us, Japanese?
